Behind the Edit: Creating an FPV Warehouse Video with Narration
In this project, I took a slightly different approach to video editing. Instead of syncing transitions to the music beat, I focused on narration-driven storytelling. Using stock footage only, the aim was to practice editing flow, test timing, and explore how voiceovers can guide the visual rhythm.

🎧 Music vs. Voice – Why I Didn’t Sync the Beat
Many FPV drone videos rely heavily on music timing to drive energy. But for this warehouse-themed video, the focus was on delivering a clear, structured message. The AI voiceover served as the anchor — everything else supported it.
That’s why the music was used for atmosphere only, without being synced to clip switches. The rhythm came from the narration itself, letting the viewer absorb the content without distraction.
🎞 Stock Footage Only — No Real Filming
This video didn’t include any original drone footage. I used stock clips intentionally to:
Practice matching narration to movement
Develop timing skills with voice-over-led edits
Experiment with pacing without being bound to music
It was a great way to sharpen storytelling techniques before using real FPV footage in client projects.
